Basic Services

General Consulting Services (North America)$300/Hour
   
Semi-Conductor Fabrication & Test Consulting$350/Hour
   
International Consulting Services$350/Hour
Including report preparation, data analysis, product testing, design evaluation, lightning and transient risk assessment, and meetings and telephone consultation. Minimum billing $50.  
Assessments, Audits, Surveys & Problem Investigations 
Fees are based on scope of activities and are quoted on an individual basis. 
Travel Time$150/Hour
   
Special Educational Services and OJT$300/Hour
   
Educational Seminars & Training$3,500/Day
Development fees vary depending on ownership of material developed, materials and resources required. In-house education and training programs are charged at the rate of $3500/day for 10 students--additional students are $200/day/student--plus expenses. Instructional fees may vary depending on material and supplemental equipment required for the course. Seminars (groups of 25 and more) are charged at the rate of $3500/day plus expenses.  

Forensic Consulting & Expert Witness Services

Forensic Consulting Services$300/Hour
   
Forensic Consulting Services$2400/Day
Including forensic engineering, case research and analysis, product testing, facility or field evaluations, preparation of reports and attorney technical briefings. Activities which extend beyond the normal 8-hours will be billed at the hourly rate for the total hours actually worked. The daily rate is the minimum billing for out-of-time activities. Equipment expenses are not included in the consulting services rates—see PowerCET’s Equipment Usage Fees price list. Minimum billing increment 15-minutes per activity.  
Expert Witness Services$375/Hour
Including depositions and court appearances.  
Litigation Retainer$5,000/Case
A non-refundable $5000 retainer is due upon acceptance of the litigation activity by PowerCET Corporation. [Note: The retainer is not generally applied against future billings.]  
Travel Time$150/Hour
   
Hold-over Time$1500/Day
Hold-over time includes weekends, holidays, etc. when the consultant remains in the distant (out-of-town) location at the request of the client. Meal, lodging and incidental expenses are in addition to the daily hold-over rate.  

General Terms & Conditions

Travel Time
Fees listed are for locations within 10 miles of the PowerCET office serving the activity. Locations outside this area are subject to travel expenses, including per-diem and travel time.
Overtime
Hourly rates stated above are for normal 8AM-5PM, M-F. Hours worked outside of the normal work day, weekends and holidays will be charged at 1.5-times the normal hourly rate.
Payment
All invoices are DUE ON RECEIPT. Projects extended beyond a 30-day duration will be invoiced on a monthly basis.
Equipment Security
The client is responsible for the security and safety of all monitoring and test equipment during transit and at client locations.
Shipping & Handling
These charges reflect PowerCET standard fees, which include actual shipping charges, handling fees and insurance fees.
