OJT / Consulting (T-OJT-2)
Recognizing that there may be a number of client/customers for which conventional education and training programs do not meet their specific needs or schedules PowerCET Corporation has developed a special combination on-the-job-training (OJT) and on-site consulting package. T-OJT-2 programs are available for any of the equipment covered in the regular skills based training programs, including: AEMC Instruments, Dranetz-BMI, Fluke Corp., Hioki USA, PowerCET On-the-job training, PowerSight,
Program Description
The T-OJT-2 program is intended for client/customers:
- That do not have sufficient training requirements to economically justify a formal in-house program.
- For which open enrollment programs either do not meet their specific needs or schedule.
- That have special requirements not generally met through regular course offerings.
The program is intended to serve the education and training needs of from one to three individuals and consists of approximately 4-hours of informal classroom equipment familiarization followed by 4-hours of on-the-job experience actually installing, servicing and analyzing power monitoring data in their own facility environment. Additional on-the-job experience days may be scheduled in conjunction with the initial activity.
Generally when working with a single individual the 4-hours of instruction and 4-hours of OJT are sufficient. When working with 2 to 3-individuals then a second day of OJT is recommended.
Additional monitoring equipment is provided, as part of the program, to insure that participants have sufficient opportunity (equipment availability) to acquire the knowledge and experience necessary to be successful in implementation of the equipment.
The program not only provides hands-on education and training, but students are working in their facility investigating and solving real problems. The program is designed to not only provide the training, but a consulting service as well.
