This course provides you with the skills to effectively use the Hioki 3196 Power Quality Analyzer. The course helps you take advantage of the unique capabilities of the Model 3196 in general power quality applications, equipment testing, verification and troubleshooting. (Note: Provide your own 3196 for use in the class and take $50 off the tuition.)

This new one-day course will help you record meaningful data, understand waveform capture, and aid in data/waveform interpretation.

In this 1-day course you’ll view a variety of real-world waveforms, each illustrating a particular PQ problem with discussion on solving the problem Through numerous case studies, this new course will help you recognize, analyze and resolve common problems. In addition, classroom time will be allocated to analysis of student waveforms. Waveform material must be submitted prior to the class to ensure compatibility (e.g., Dranetz-BMI, Fluke-RPM, and Hioki).
