This new one-day course focuses on the evaluation of monitoring data recorded by the family of Dranetz-BMI power monitoring equipment. The course starts with a review of the DranView to familiarize the student with the programs capabilities and features. Students will complete a series of exercises on navigating the software menu structure and displaying and exporting data for later inclusion in reports.
Students will be presented with a series of case studies and monitoring data and taken through the complete process of evaluating the raw data, selecting significant events and organizing a comprehensive report. Students will individually complete a series of exercises in which they will analyze previously recorded monitoring sessions, develop a report of their findings—complete with recommendations—and present the report to the class. Student materials include workbook and CD with monitoring data, sample reports and class exercises.
- Use the Dran-View software to identify and export significant power monitor events to augment the report writer feature of DranView
- Select events that support and enhance the report findings and recommendations
- Export data from DranView to Excel (or other graphing programs) for custom graphing or formatting of information beyond the capability the standard programs
- Organize and edit power monitoring data into a comprehensive report
